About:
At Kargo card , a fintech startup, I was their founding UX designer. I led the creation of their first rewards platform, the company’s primary source of income. Resulting in a responsive design system that made development fast and scalable, perfect for a start up environment.
I also rebranded the company’s identity as they expanded from Shanghai to the U.S., giving them a stronger presence in a new market. These efforts helped Kargo card build credibility with users and investors, directly supporting their growth. In addition, I designed client-facing platforms, including a rewards wallet for Price Chopper, strengthening Kargo card ’s partnerships and revenue opportunities.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Retailers and brands struggle to deliver flexible, engaging loyalty and rewards programs without heavy IT resources or costly integrations. On the other hand, consumers — especially young, urban, lifestyle-driven shoppers — want rewards that feel relevant, immediate, and aspirational.
KargoCard bridges this gap by providing a B2B loyalty and payments orchestration platform that enables retailers to launch digital and experiential rewards programs quickly, while giving consumers the flexibility to redeem points on everyday treats and aspirational experiences.
